Farmers, students, and community advocates will gather February 6th at 10AM at the Wallace Auditorium for a press event and advocacy day in support of the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture

(Des Moines, IA) Supporters of the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture are gathering at 10AM Tuesday, February 6th at Wallace Auditorium to call for a re-funded, re-staffed, and re-imagined Leopold Center. Iowa faces agricultural challenges requiring collaboration, creativity, innovation, transparency, and science-based approaches. Now more than ever, supporters argue, Iowa needs a Leopold Center strengthened by a supportive public and a supportive home. A new accompanying video series highlights supporters’ New Vision for Iowa Agriculture.
