The #PeoplesClimate #PeoplesFood Pledge

Food First | 04.25.2017

To address the root causes of hunger, we must address climate change. That’s why we’ll be on the ground at the People’s Climate March in Washington DC this Saturday, April 29th. Climate change impacts hunger; however, this doesn’t mean hunger and famine are inevitable.  In fact, we have good news: changes in our agrifood system that best address climate change—like the growing trend towards agroecology—can also benefit the world’s hungry.

As a peoples’ think and do tank, we’ll be there, as your eyes and ears, lifting up how those on the frontlines for food sovereignty are also on the frontlines for climate justice.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll be gathering and sharing updates from the frontlines of the march, related analysis, and more.

Click here to pledge to join us as we reveal the intersections of food sovereignty and climate justice – and we’ll send you updates and analysis right from the source in Washington, DC.

The industrial food system accelerates climate change – and the people who produce our food are often hit hardest. We’ll be there to learn from and lift up those growing and preparing our food.

Pledge to join us as we explore the intersections of food & climate with exclusive interviews, analysis, and more.

In solidarity,
